Hey there!

My name is Wendy and this is my little slice of the internet. I am a new mom to that little adorableness over there and wife to that handsome hunk. We make our home in the same little town that we met in Kindergarten – many years ago! That’s right folks, we met at age 6. We spent years traveling and living life fast and fun, but decided that we no longer needed sleep and money and would like to become foster parents. We adopted Joey in 2019 and realized that we wanted him to grow up on the same little Farm to Market Roads we did. That is really where this story begins. We just moved “home” y’all. Back to our roots, to our little town with a big heart.

I have always enjoyed cooking and baking, decorating and creating; but it when Joey entered our life and he had never experienced all the wonderful smells and tastes, I began pouring my extra energy into making ALL THE THINGS. I also started sharing all the fun photos and videos on social media and soon realized I am a blogger. Food, Family and Fun – I guess that sums it up best.

I will be posting recipes and how-to videos, and I will probably overshare photos of my little nugget – I mean y’all did see him right?

So stick around and ride down some back roads in Texas, I’ll fix the sweet tea and snacks.
